To build the film noir and detective theme, lighting included venetian blind gobos that cast shadows on the walls and floors.
To give the room the feel of a cozy library, producers brought in oversize sofas and chairs for casual seating.
Smaller games, like Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots and Tick, were placed on coffee tables.
Tables reserved for cast, crew, and HBO staffers had different centerpieces made up of books, flowers, and tchotchkes.
Tribeca Rooftop isn't equipped with a lot of lighting, so vintage decorative lamps were suspended at different heights.
The design team at Caravents broke up the blank curtained walls with mirrors of different sizes, and filled the empty areas with games like foosball and ping pong.
The night's open bar included the Brooklyn Bubbly signature cocktail, a mixture of sparkling wine, ginger, and blood orange liqueur.
