At R. Jack Balthazar, we have always appreciated an unconventional approach to event design…where style and flair are more important than formal training. So when Heidi came to us with a degree in Chemistry from UC Irvine, we were instantly smitten by her personal style, her natural talent, and her love of flowers and parties...and knew that we just had to get her out of that cold dank lab! With an eye for fashion and with her finger on the pulse of all that is fresh and fabulous, Heidi brings a youthful exuberance to our firm. Her sparkling personality and wicked humor make the early mornings and the late nights palatable while her extreme organization and attention to detail make every day a success. In her time with us, Heidi has lead productions all over the country and abroad; she has been featured on the NBC Morning News and has become an integral part of the R. Jack team!

We had always had an informal rule here at R. Jack – that we don’t hire professional florists. Teri was a florist…but also a cool girl from the Northwest, and it was her path to becoming a florist that makes her such a valuable addition to our team – psychology student, radio talent, coffee shop babe, dog walker, actress, AND florist who had run successful floral businesses in Los Angeles and in Portland, Oregon. With a wild blonde mane, a canine sidekick (meet Pants below) and at least 2 lifetimes of entertaining stories, Teri is a creative force with flowers. And though she claimed for at least a year that she can’t wrap a package to save her life, she is now upholstering containers and tying perfect bows with the best of us!

Part lab, part dalmation… all love. Pants technically belongs to Teri, but is R. Jack’s adopted studio dog, spending his days in our studio being tripped over, splashed on, getting his paws tangled in ribbons, and napping amid the mayhem.
